It only brought up one suggestion, is it supposed to bring up more?
If you're only seeing one event on the map, it may be that;
a) you only have one event today or
b) your other events don't have locations.
Check your usual calendar app and add some meetings with locations, then refresh the app. Soon we'll be adding automatic location suggestions for those meetings that don't have one, so watch this space.
