Smart Alerts in Onlife
Smart Alerts are intelligent notifications powered by Leslie, your smart assistant. They help you stay ahead of your schedule by factoring in preparation time, travel conditions, and event context — so you’re not just reminded, you’re ready.
What are Smart Alerts?
Unlike standard calendar reminders that are fixed and time-based, Smart Alerts are context-aware and adaptive. They notify you based on real-world factors such as:
• Preparation time required for a meeting or task
• Travel time, including real-time traffic, public transport, or walking conditions
• Weather or location changes that may impact timing
• The importance or complexity of an event (e.g., casual coffee vs client presentation)
Smart Alerts are designed to reduce stress, prevent last-minute rushes, and help you arrive ready and on time.
How to Enable Smart Alerts
1. Open the Onlife app.
2. Navigate to the Smart Alerts settings screen.
3. Toggle Enable Smart Alerts to turn them on.
Once enabled, Onlife will start monitoring your schedule and sending timely, helpful alerts.
Alert Intensity Levels
You can choose how early and how often Smart Alerts are delivered by selecting one of three intensity settings:
Minimal
Only sends critical alerts and remains mostly silent.
Recommended for users who prefer fewer interruptions.
Balanced
Provides timely nudges for preparation and travel without overwhelming you.
Ideal for everyday use.
Ultra Time-Lord
Delivers comprehensive alerts for all prep and travel needs.
Best suited for power users who want maximum visibility and control over their schedule.
Custom Alerts (Coming Soon)
The Custom Alerts option will allow you to add specific instructions for Leslie based on your personal preferences. This feature is in development and will be available in a future update.
Example Scenario
You have a 2:00 PM meeting that’s a 20-minute drive away and requires 10 minutes of prep. Onlife detects traffic delays and notifies you at 1:20 PM — giving you time to prepare, travel, and arrive without stress.
